What URAT registers
URAT issues San Marino plates and registration. FAQ Sezione Amministrativa puntos 10 and 11 are the Extra-UE used-vehicle list. Trucks in the remaining categories are always collaudati. The office named on the public pages is Via delle Carrare 42. We do not homologate in San Marino.
Italy first, then San Marino
The customs union puts San Marino on the Common Customs Tariff for third-country goods. Japan is a third country, so the representative files the Italian declaration at Livorno or Genoa and brings the truck to free circulation. Duty is TARIC for this HS code. If VAT is collected in Italy, Your Europe prints a standard rate of 22%. We do not print a passenger-car example as the truck bill. The US$500 card payment starts sourcing. It does not reserve the truck and it does not pay ocean freight.
Ufficio Tributario
After Italian free circulation, Ufficio Tributario takes the distinta di presentazione import and the fattura vidimata. Imposta monofase is assessed on that file. We do not invent a monofase percentage. Other sites print figures that are not on the URAT or Tributario pages.
Papers on the Extra-UE file
URAT FAQ 10 plus 11 names the foreign registration showing radiation from the origin register, a customs document or Italian sale invoice, a sworn translation, a notarial declaration of ownership, the distinta and fattura vidimata when the vehicle is not beni strumentali, and apostille or consular legalisation. Japanese shaken is not a Sammarinese registration.
